Brown was instrumental in unveiling SoCalGas’ [H2]创新体验, demonstrating the potential for clean, renewable 氢 to be used to power 社区 and businesses. Additionally, Brown is helping advance the proposed 洛杉矶的链接 项目, which could be the nation’s largest green 氢 pipeline system and make the Los Angeles basin a clean fuels hub here in the U.S.
Under Brown’s leadership, SoCalGas exceeded California Public Utilities Com任务’s 多样化的消费目标 with suppliers for the 30th consecutive year in 2022.
Brown started her career as an engineer in the petroleum refining sector and has 25 years of experience in the energy industry across engineering, 法律, 政策和监管角色. She joined SoCalGas in 2019 from Sempra, where she was vice president, federal government affairs. Before joining Sempra, Brown served as chief energy counsel to the U.S. 众议院 能源和商业委员会 and subsequently as senior energy and environment counsel for two U.S. 众议院发言人.

塔尼亚·奥尔蒂斯·梅纳 is paving the way for the next 一代 of women in energy. Ortiz Mena is the group president, 清洁能源 and energy networks at Sempra基础设施. She leads the company’s activities related to 清洁能源 一代, natural gas transportation and distribution, and fuel storage facilities in North America.

Previously, she served as the chief operating officer of 西班牙&E, overseeing operations of the utility’s natural gas and electric infrastructure assets and customer services.
